Holy Moly!

Holy Moly—we had 2,132 visitors today–quite the record if you ask me! Virginia is understandably #1–but i’m really impressed with the number of fans in Massachusetts & North Carolina
Thank you to everyone for the support—I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

{Sneak Peek} Kimberly & Bretton!
I met Kimberly & Bretton a few weeks ago on one of the most beautiful January days I’ve seen in a long time. They were such a fun couple and were totally up for any ideas I had–I love it when couples really trust me
While we were walking around and getting to know each other I found out that Bretton proposed to Kimberly via Facebook!!! {blurry screen shot below} One night they were at home in separate rooms playing each other in online Scrabble when Bretton popped the question via Facebook chat! Kimberly said that she was in total shock and as she started walking to the other room she found Bretton on one knee in the hallway! How freaking adorable!!!

I have heard a bazillion engagement stories, but this one definitely is one of the most creative! <insert pat on back to Bretton>
Here are a few of my favorite shots from our session—in no particular order, of course
Enjoy!

I just think this image is so sweet—you can tell these two are so in love <3

What an honor :)
When I left the University of Tennessee to move back home and go to Old Dominion I wasn’t sure what to expect from my new chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha—so I postponed taking a little sister for at least the first few semesters. Going into the 2005 Formal Recruitment I was still unsure if I was ready to take on a little, but there was something special about one of the girls coming through that really caught my attention. I didn’t want to get my hopes up because I knew she could just as easily go somewhere else, but knew that if she went Zeta that I wanted to take her as my little, I think that New Jersey accent really grabbed my attention
Over the next year my Jersey transplant and ‘lil’ grew extremely close and I was lucky enough to have her as a bridesmaid in my wedding in September of 2006. She has become one of my closest friends and I was extremely touched and honored when she recently asked me to be the Matron of Honor for her upcoming nuptials in May 2011. Andrea and her fiance, Chris, are such great people and make the sweetest couple I couldn’t be any happier than to be a part of her special day.
Thank you Andrea & Chris, for allowing me this amazing honor. I love you guys!
xoxo
Here is the Christmas ornament that Andrea gave me to ask me to be in the wedding—isn’t she SOO creative?!
